About

I build front-end features for the AWS IoT Console, supporting production workloads that scale to billions of global devices. Currently, I'm reimagining how software is built in the era of agentic AI.

My path to software started in mechanical engineering — manufacturing at Honda and Toyota, aerospace research at Ohio State, and five years teaching science across Southeast Asia. Each chapter sharpened a different skill: precision, systems thinking, and the ability to explain complex ideas clearly.

These days I'm focused on agentic AI workflows and building tools that let engineers ship faster.

CyberPugs

CyberPugs chat session with Turbo Snort: cockpit backdrop, pug avatar, and terminal-style message panel.

Cyberpunk SPA with nine unique CyberPug hacker-dog personas: browse the roster, start a Bedrock-backed AI chat. Players earn techno pug prizes for a toy box and unlock a surprise after collecting the full set.

Tech stack

  • React 18, TypeScript, Vite, and React Router.
  • Front end on AWS Amplify; API and chat backend on AWS App Runner.
  • Conversational AI through the Amazon Bedrock API for the in-app chat experience.
  • Progression: collectible techno pug prizes for the toy box, with a hidden unlock when the collection is complete.
  • Imagery generated with SuperGrok.

Data4Life

Personal dashboard that syncs WHOOP data on demand: recovery, strain, sleep, workouts, and body metrics across dashboard, sleep calendar, and AI insights. Dark UI; hosted on Amplify with AWS Cognito.

Tech stack

  • React 18, TypeScript, Vite.
  • WHOOP Cloud API — OAuth, tokens, REST for cycles, sleep, activities, body/profile.
  • Data layer: loads client data asynchronously with clear loading and error states, and shows when the dataset was last refreshed.
  • Platform: hosted on AWS Amplify with branch-based deploys; authentication with AWS Cognito.
  • Features: dashboard, sleep calendar, and AI insights.
